Ling crushers can handle red-hot ash; they are highly wear-resistant and have a long service life. Active crushing components include grilles and striking rods, both of which are designed for easy replacement. Higher-temperature wear-resistant special steel is used for all grilles and striking rods.
Ling Crushers use a direct drive motor to spin a single-roller at approximately 1000 RPM. The crushing mechanism strikes and cuts incoming ash with great momentum. There are three crusher variants: The Ling Coarse Crusher, the Ling Fine Crusher, and the Ling Economizer Crusher. The LCC can be used for non-pneumatically transported dry or wet bottom-ash. The LFC and LEC are used for pneumatically transported ash.
Startup & Overload Protection
The rods of the LCC and LFC must rotate at high speed prior to receiving ash, otherwise they may become jammed. This no-load crusher startup requirement should be considered when starting the ash-handling system. While crusher jamming would normally overload the driving motor, integrated overload protection prevents that. If the reader would like to integrate a Ling crusher into an existing ash-handling system then a customized electronic control box will be provided for overload detection and prevention.
The single-roller crusher (model No. DGS-830) has replaced all European, American, Japanese, and Russian-supplied crushers in China.
